Synopsis

“It is a pleasure to meet you, Ambassador. I’m Isabella Piori, your Attaché’s new assistant.”
“Is that right?” This man riveted me. I was in a trance. He was raw sex in a tux and nothing like I had ever seen before.
He entered my life like an unexpected storm out of nowhere. I couldn’t help myself and I didn’t want to. He was beautiful, rustic, and confident. There was something between us when our eyes locked onto each other. It was electrifying. I had never wanted anything so much in my life.
His love changed me and made me stronger. He made me realize that my life could be so more. But it hurt. I hurt. I became someone else.

Review

I don’t read many political romances but this one sounded really interesting so I thought I would give it a go. I’m glad that I did.

Fabrice and Isabella’s story is so beautifully told by the author. As so as I started I was sucked into their world and their lives. The author has created a great story with excellent character developed. Plus there are some great secondary character too.

Fabrice and Isabella’s story started out as a forbidden office romance but grows into something much more. Trying to keep their relationship a secret from everyone is the biggest thing of all. His the new French ambassador and she’s just an office assistant. Plus she’s Italian and if her family find her she’s dating a French man, who is also a lot older than her, well you can guess what might happen. Then there is the ‘ex-girlfriend’ who is out to try to win Fabrice back. Yet they are still determined to keep their relationship strong.

I can’t wait to read the next book to find out where they will go from here.
