Suck by Nikki Belaire

Synopsis

Reece Diavolo. They call him The Devil behind his back, and when the vicious mob boss sees the bride at his cousin’s wedding he decides there won’t be a marriage after all that day…because now she belongs to him.

Macy Shaw. They call her The Mouse to her face, and when the goodest of good girls learns her blackmailing fiancé has disappeared she’s relieved…until she realizes her savior is even more dangerous than the groom.

Author’s note: Suck is short, sweet, and dirty, filled with all the best parts of a romance for a fun two-hour read. No triggers or cliffhangers and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Review

I loved Suck so much. I don’t how the author did it but despite only been a novella the story is in no way lacking in quality.

Our hero, Reece comes into save the day by stopping an arranged marriage between his cousin and Macy all because we wants her. It may seem a bit dominating, however he is so sweet with Macy. The real people she needed saving from were her parents, they were all for themselves never mind what their daughter wanted.

Reece and Macy’s story is really sweet, but also steamy. Glad they got their HEA

Synopsis

I’ve never been afraid of the dark…but that doesn’t mean I wanted to live in it. And maybe everyone wants what they can’t have, but I should’ve thought it over before I accepted the key and unlocked the door to their forbidden world.

Number One is mostly silent. He watches me with them very carefully. His gaze never wanders. His interest never wanes.

Number Two is mostly gentle. But it’s the other side of him I like best. The wild side.

Number Three is mostly reserved. He refuses to cross the line. Even when I beg.

It was carnal, it was sensual, and it was erotic. That’s it. That’s all it was supposed to be. A trip into the dark. A peek into the forbidden.

I just didn’t expect to like them.

Review

This book is all kinds of naughty and I love it. I love that the author took a risk with this story and was brave enough to introduce the reader into a forbidden world of darkness and ones’ darkest desires.

Bric, Quinn and Smith, while all different to their own right, really brought story together. There was just something about their unusual friendship that made me want to keep reading. I wanted to know what their deepest secrets were and why they did things they way that they did. It was exciting to find at the real reason.

Then comes along a surprise in the form of Chella, and now we have one very interesting story indeed.

Oh My! I was not expecting the coupling to go the way it did.

Then the ending was really something all together again.

Synopsis

Yakaterinka Rukovsky, or Russia, as he called her, was perfect and a hundred times better in the net than Jake Holliday could ever hope to be. For the past two years, she had stolen the spotlight from him. But this year, his last year of college, he intended to steal it back from her so that he could have his chance at the NHL.

Getting her to quit college was Jake’s only hope. And he would have if it wasn’t for what happened the weekend before the season began. After what happened that night, Jake was left with two choices: either keep the truth to himself or confess everything, and ruin any chance he had at the NHL.

The more that Jake got to know Russia, the more he realized that he might have to sacrifice his own hopes and dreams of a better life for her. How could Jake keep the truth of what happened that night from her when he was falling in love with her?

Review

I was really enjoying this book until the end. The story sucked me in and I couldn’t get through it fast enough. But the ending just left me confused and angry. I want to know what happened between Jake and Russia from the end of the story to 5 years into the future. I mean why did she do what she did? Why give it all up after everything that she had been through? Why not hear Jake out? I thought their love was like no other and then she leaves without a word. WTF? Seriously.

Then they meet in the future and bamn, end of story again. I feel like this story is unresolved for me. After been drawn in I want to know if they can even resolve their issues. There is something that she mentions when she sees Jake after 5 years and now I’m left wondering what happened in those years.

NB: I have now discovered that there will be a second part this story. Hopefully some of my questions will now be answered

Review

Enter one junkie that will do anything to get her next fix; even going to the ‘Boss’s’ house to ask where her dealer/boyfriend is. Add to the mix one OCD drug dealer and what we have is one very interesting and captivating story.

Truthfully I wasn’t sure how this story was going to go or whether it would even work. I was just expecting some drug lord to keep supplying the junkie with her drug of choice and then use her as his personal whore. But what I got was so much more than that.

The author has created these wonderful and deep characters of Miri: the junkie and Jag: the Boss, that I never wanted their story to end. I was so captivated by everything that was going on. For some strange reason they just work for me, even if it should go against everything.

Now I’m intrigued to find out will happen next because that ending has left me begging for my next fix.

Review

I’m a little at odds with this story. Was it enjoyable? Yes but it wasn’t anything memorable thou. I felt like the story was finishing up; and it could have and then the author decides it add a two weeks later section. Nothing wrong with that, but when reading it just felt like an add on not a continuation of the story.

The little mystery in the story is what keep me reading til the end, but overall I’m left wanting more.

Review

One dom to love was a very interesting story and didn’t go the way that I expected it to. But in some ways I’m grateful for that. It’s not very exciting if I discover the big ‘secret’ right at the start of the story.

For the first book in the series there was lots of character development and back story to keep the reader guessing. But in some points along the way I was wishing for just a little bit more of the characters past to better understand their decisions. It would have also helped to know who’s point of view I was following. At the start it was a bit confusing but I got there in the end.

That being said, I can’t wait to read the next book to find out more.

Wow, oh wow! This was one roller coaster of a read and I enjoyed every minute of it and I didn’t want it to end. I was expecting something totally different for the story based on reading the blurb. More a long the lines of playboy wins over the girl just to get what he wants. What I got was so much more than that. And I’m glad for it. I love a surprise when I’m reading.

I found myself falling in love with the characters and the story so easily, that time just flew by and before I knew it I had finished the story. I should have known that there would be a cliffhanger but this one… Oh its really left me stumped as to where the author is going to go next.

Bring on the next volume like stat…

My best friend’s little sister. That’s all Emma Briggs is to me.
I keep trying to convince myself that statement is true but it’s a lie.

It’s her face I see every time I close my eyes.

It’s her lips I long to kiss.
It’s her cherry I want to pop.

We were separated by time and distance, but now she’s back in my life. And everything has changed.
Every. Thing.

She’s no longer that kid tagging along behind me. The special bond I’ve shared with her–for as long as I can remember–has become something so different. Something so forbidden. Something so hot.

Desire is telling me to do it–to pop her cherry. It would be so easy to give in and take her because she’ll feel so good.

My best friend’s little sister is all grown up. And I want her.

I’m a little bit on the fence with this book. On one hand i did enjoy it, but there are just some things that were missing for me to really love it. I was really drawn in by the synopsis however I was expecting something I little but different from the story.

Ben and Emma’s story didn’t really feel as forbidden as it could have been. Sure they were snicking around but there was no real ‘I wonder if they are going to get caught’ moment. I big getting caught moment just wasn’t there for me. It just seems second nature in these types of stories.

Also I felt like we never really got to know what their friends thought of their relationship or what Emma’s parents thought. They were worried about what would happen when everyone found out but the other characters opinions were never heard. I believe it would have added more depth to the plot.

Overall an enjoyable and quick read.

Synopsis

I’m the best operator in the entire agency. The plum assignments—always mine. So when an American heiress goes missing, I’m the guy they call to get her back. Rescuing Collette Stanford is my mission. What I do to her after that is purely up to me, as long as she makes it back to the States in one piece. I’ll kill the bad guys, get the girl, and get a little taste of what the heiress has to offer. None of this is negotiable. I’m Cash Remington, and I never miss.

Content Warning: This standalone novella stars an alpha male who never misses. It’s full of sex and violence. It’s an erotic adventure, not a romance, and is not “safe.” If you’re cool with these caveats, enjoy!

Review

Right from the get go this book is off to a flying straight; no lead up to the action. The first paragraph has Cash sky diving into enemy territory on his mission to save a missing heiress. And from there is never stops. Page after pages is filled with action. And let’s not forget the heat between the main characters. Yes, it’s pretty hot.

I did like the twist in the story from the author. I was waiting for something, but I wasn’t expecting that.

If you like romance stories with plenty of action in and out of the bedroom then I would recommend that you give this series a go.

OMG!!! You can’t end it like that. What am I suppose to do til I can get my hands on the next one? The wait it going to kill me. *rant over*

I really enjoyed the Dirty Billionaire series, but Meghan has really stepped it up with Dirty Girl. It just has more of everything that I loved about that series and something else. While you don’t have to have read Dirty Billionaire to enjoy this series, the main character in Dirty Girl is the sister of Billionaire Cray Karas. It might just give you more of an idea of their relationship and a few other things that are not explained fully in this story.

But seriously, if you love second chance romances that has lots of fireworks then you should totally read this. As so as I saw the covers I couldn’t wait to read this series. And then that blurb. It mad me laugh and what to know more. There is just something so additive about Meghan’s writing that I’m instantly draw into the story, that it’s over before I’ve even realized it.

I’m in love with the characters and the story and can’t wait to see what will happen next. Please hurry along I need Dirty Love now.
