Synopsis

I’ve never been afraid of the dark…but that doesn’t mean I wanted to live in it. And maybe everyone wants what they can’t have, but I should’ve thought it over before I accepted the key and unlocked the door to their forbidden world.

Number One is mostly silent. He watches me with them very carefully. His gaze never wanders. His interest never wanes.

Number Two is mostly gentle. But it’s the other side of him I like best. The wild side.

Number Three is mostly reserved. He refuses to cross the line. Even when I beg.

It was carnal, it was sensual, and it was erotic. That’s it. That’s all it was supposed to be. A trip into the dark. A peek into the forbidden.

I just didn’t expect to like them.

Review

This book is all kinds of naughty and I love it. I love that the author took a risk with this story and was brave enough to introduce the reader into a forbidden world of darkness and ones’ darkest desires.

Bric, Quinn and Smith, while all different to their own right, really brought story together. There was just something about their unusual friendship that made me want to keep reading. I wanted to know what their deepest secrets were and why they did things they way that they did. It was exciting to find at the real reason.

Then comes along a surprise in the form of Chella, and now we have one very interesting story indeed.

Oh My! I was not expecting the coupling to go the way it did.

Then the ending was really something all together again.

Synopsis

I don’t want to touch it.
I really, really don’t.
He’s egotistical, crass, and my patient’s owner–which makes him totally off limits.
Yep, that’s right. He owns the wiener I’m currently working on.
A wiener dog–get your dirty mind out of the gutter.
I’ve also worked on his Spoodle, his Cocker-shitzu, and a Cheagle–don’t ask. (And no, it’s not a sexual position).
It doesn’t help that he also represents most of my joint-owned veterinary practice’s small clientele. We’d only just opened the doors a few months ago, and in he strode with a yelping Taco Terrier. One haughty look at our sparkling new facilities, he’d demanded royal treatment, even though I was currently finger deep up a squalling tom cat.
Ever since then, he expects me to serve him.
Any time. All the time.
Him and his revolving zoo of dogs.
One of these days, I’m going to swat him for being such a pompous ass but I can’t deny the way he handles his charges makes me want to see past the ‘do as I say and don’t ask questions’ barking exterior.
But then last week…he caught me staring at his um, cough, package.
His bossy commands switched to a cocky smirk.
He gave me permission to do something I promised myself I would never ever do.
I can touch it.
If I want…

Review

As soon as I read the title of this book I started to sing that song. You know the one that I’m talking about; the one that everyone only knows a few lines from…

Anyways this book is just, if not more addictive than that song. I just wanted to gobble this book up until it gave me a toothache. Yes in some parts it was just that sweet and cheesy, but it made me love it even more. Don’t get me wrong while it was sweet there were also some moments that brought tears to my eyes. Been a dog lover myself, I understood where the characters coming from.

Vesper and Ryder where complete opposites of the dark and mysterious characters that I have come to love from Pepper, but that didn’t make them any less complicated. It made a great change and I really liked this side of Pepper’s writing. It was over the top sweet and had me laughing, yet had the perfect balance to make the story flow just right.

If she ever writes Polly’s story, I’m so risking a toothache just to read it.

Review

Talk about insta-love! This one was a bit too quick for me but I still enjoyed it overall. I really liked the story and the characters in this one. Coen and Eden were perfect for each other. As always, it was over before I wanted it to be.

If I ever need a quick and hot read I know that Alexa Riley will be here to fill that need.

Review

I’m a little at odds with this story. Was it enjoyable? Yes but it wasn’t anything memorable thou. I felt like the story was finishing up; and it could have and then the author decides it add a two weeks later section. Nothing wrong with that, but when reading it just felt like an add on not a continuation of the story.

The little mystery in the story is what keep me reading til the end, but overall I’m left wanting more.

Synopsis

Mary-Jane wasn’t looking for drama. All she wanted was a family of her own, so she decided to make that happen. A mix-up at the sperm bank leaves her with a baby in her belly, but the father is none the wiser.

Ty was injured in a bull-riding accident, and now all he plans on doing is working on his ranch and keeping to himself. That is, until a little dark-haired woman shows up on his doorstep.

When their paths cross, will Mary-Jane be able to reveal to Ty that he’s the father? Will Ty be able to keep Mary-Jane from running? Will there be a lot of steam in this book? You betcha!

Review

One shy virgin and one angry cowboy makes for one very interesting story. Mary-Jane and Ty make for a very cute couple and I loved how possessive he was over her. When you find out why, it just makes you love him even more.

I love me some cowboys and nothing beats a Texan cowboy. Add in Alexa Riley’s style of writing and I’m hooked. I wish they would write more cowboy stories. I would gobble them up in to time. I hope they write more about this family. I really want to know if they all find their happily ever after.

Synopsis

A one-night stand. That’s all Ashlyn Shepherd is to me.
I’ve spent the last five years trying to convince myself that statement is true.
But saying it doesn’t make it so.

She’s the one who slipped away in the middle of the night. The one who—after only one night together—took my heart when she left. Literally, she’s the one who got away.

I hate the way she consumes my every thought, even after all this time.
I hate the way I dream of her every night.
I hate the way I look for her in every crowd.
But mostly I hate how I can’t forget her. Not even a little bit.

We were separated by cruel circumstances and now fate has returned her to me. But everything has changed. She isn’t that carefree girl I met five years ago.

I see so much pain behind her eyes. So much uncertainty. But one thing remains unchanged.
I still want her.

She. Will. Be. Mine.

Review

I enjoyed this book more than the first book in the series, but I still felt like there was something missing from the story. I think I was enjoying it so much, that I want to know more about the characters. Their story was over just as I was beginning to fall in love with them.

Panty Dropper is Ryan and Ash’s story. Ryan is the older brother of Emma from the first book, and she also makes a brief appearance at the start. It was nice to see that she is still happy. Ryan comes across as one strong alpha male and likes to get everything that he sets his sights on, this includes Ash. Although despite this, I liked how Ash didn’t just bend to his will so easily.

In the end Ryan and Ash make one very cute and happy couple.

One night. No names. No phone numbers. Just me, her, and pure pleasure.
Except, that one girl turns out to be the biggest mistake of my life.

Because I broke my cardinal rule …
Never b*ng a student.

Review

There are not many student/teacher romances that they capture my attention, however Bad Teacher was anything but bad. I really liked this story. There was something about the characters that really draw me in and I was totally sucked into their world.

Thomas Hard was one really interesting professor. If I had teachers like that, I’m sure I would have attended all my classes. He had this mystery about him and when he past was revealed I was little shocked. There were hints along the way but nothing prepared me for his truth.

I was a little unsure about Haliey at the start, but I soon grew to love here.

I was very happy with how the author handled the end of the story after the truth had been revealed and that the main characters got a happy ending.

Review

I liked the idea of this story but after I finished reading it, I was just left feeling meh. It was good and all but it just wasn’t overly great either. I guess I just didn’t really connect with this story unlike some of the author previous books that I have read.

Review

I loved everything about this book. It is the prefect pick-me-up fun read. There were so many parts where I was trying not to laugh out loud. I think I read most of this book with the biggest smile on my face. It just gave me that warm happy feeling all over. I never wanted it to end.

Mia is just a sweetest girl and I really loved Quinn. Well sometimes he was a bit of an ass, but overall he seemed like a genuine guy. Right from the start I was hopping that they would get together and while it took a little bit of the story to get going and for them to meet. Once they did… Oh man! I couldn’t put the book down after that.

If you like brothers’ best friend romance, I would totally recommend this one. I’m just sorry that I hadn’t read it sooner.

Review

I’m a little bit on the fence with this book. On one hand i did enjoy it, but there are just some things that were missing for me to really love it. I was really drawn in by the synopsis however I was expecting something I little but different from the story.

Ben and Emma’s story didn’t really feel as forbidden as it could have been. Sure they were snicking around but there was no real ‘I wonder if they are going to get caught’ moment. I big getting caught moment just wasn’t there for me. It just seems second nature in these types of stories.

Also I felt like we never really got to know what their friends thought of their relationship or what Emma’s parents thought. They were worried about what would happen when everyone found out but the other characters opinions were never heard. I believe it would have added more depth to the plot.

Overall an enjoyable and quick read.
