Review

There are not many student/teacher romances that they capture my attention, however Bad Teacher was anything but bad. I really liked this story. There was something about the characters that really draw me in and I was totally sucked into their world.

Thomas Hard was one really interesting professor. If I had teachers like that, I’m sure I would have attended all my classes. He had this mystery about him and when he past was revealed I was little shocked. There were hints along the way but nothing prepared me for his truth.

I was a little unsure about Haliey at the start, but I soon grew to love here.

I was very happy with how the author handled the end of the story after the truth had been revealed and that the main characters got a happy ending.

He laughs and wraps his hand around my waist, pulling me in for a soft kiss right underneath my ear. “Relax. I’m not asking you to do anything … except stay.”

“How many times are you going to repeat my words?” he muses.

I stare up at the ceiling. “As many times as needed to get the point across.”

Now, he turns to face the ceiling too. Totally not awkward or anything. “And what point is that?”

“The point that we’re in limbo and I don’t know what to think of it.”

“I like limbo,” he says, a smug smile on his face as he gazes at me.

“I don’t,” I say, folding my hands.

He sighs and closes his eyes. “Let’s just get some rest, okay?”

“I’m not tired.”

“Well, I am. It’s late, and we’ve done a lot of … physical exercise.”

I laugh at those words. He goes through so much trouble just to avoid the topic, it’s funny.

What can I say? This book was something completely different to anything that I have read in a while. Is it weird to like the hero even thou you secretly want to kill him every time he does something violent? Angel is one multi-layered person and I think that’s what I loved about him the most. Just when I thought I had something figured out about him, the author goes in and throws in another twist.

And Sky, she’s one strong woman. There is no way I would be able to came out sane after everything that she went through. But knowing why makes me understand her decisions even more.

I think I spent most of the book wondering when I would discover what each of the 21’s where for. These kept me guessing til the end.
21 years- this was an easy one.
21 weeks- I thought I had this one figured out and then… OMG!!!
21 days- another easy one
21 minutes- Also another one that I thought I had guessed right, but no I was wrong again.
21 seconds- Now this was the most interesting. There were a lot of things that this could have been. But when it’s revealed, I melted. The happy tears were happening. I did not expect that at all.
