Dirty Girl by Meghan March
Dirty Girl Duet #1

From USA Today bestselling author Meghan March comes a sexy new spin-off duet from the Dirty Billionaire Trilogy. Are you ready to get dirty again?

Desperately seeking rich, famous, single guy with a giant cock to make my lying, cheating, should’ve-been-born-dickless ex-boyfriend realize what he’s just lost.
Oh, and I give great head. Just sayin’.

No man in his right mind would answer that ad.
Except thousands did.
My name is Greer Karas, and I should never be allowed near another bottle of booze again. Because when I drink, my friend and I do stupid things. Like take a page out of my older brother Creighton’s playbook and post something completely asinine on the Internet. Waking up with a giant hangover to find my humiliating personal ad has gone viral is not my finest moment.
Cue my look of shock when one of Hollywood’s hottest new bad boys, Cavanaugh Westman, comes knocking at my door and drops his pants to prove that he does indeed have a giant cock.
What he doesn’t have is an explanation for why he disappeared from my life without a word three years ago, only to show up on the big screen two years later, killing bad guys in action flicks.
Now he wants me again.
What the hell do I do now?

OMG!!! You can’t end it like that. What am I suppose to do til I can get my hands on the next one? The wait it going to kill me. *rant over*

I really enjoyed the Dirty Billionaire series, but Meghan has really stepped it up with Dirty Girl. It just has more of everything that I loved about that series and something else. While you don’t have to have read Dirty Billionaire to enjoy this series, the main character in Dirty Girl is the sister of Billionaire Cray Karas. It might just give you more of an idea of their relationship and a few other things that are not explained fully in this story.

But seriously, if you love second chance romances that has lots of fireworks then you should totally read this. As so as I saw the covers I couldn’t wait to read this series. And then that blurb. It mad me laugh and what to know more. There is just something so additive about Meghan’s writing that I’m instantly draw into the story, that it’s over before I’ve even realized it.

I’m in love with the characters and the story and can’t wait to see what will happen next. Please hurry along I need Dirty Love now.

“So that’s it? You just never want to see me anymore?” I want to see you every day. “We can still call each other. I want to help you find answers, I’ll never stop with that. To absolve not only me, but you, too. But that means we have to focus on what’s important, and it’s not this.” I stumbled back when he moved closer still.

“Not this,” I repeated.

Truth cannot conquer lies. It can’t prove Charlie’s innocence. It sure as hell doesn’t prevent the police from closing in. With clues that are leading straight to her, the only thing Charlie knows for sure is that no one is without their own sins—including the man she cares about the most.

Will love turn out to be the ultimate distraction? Or will it be the one weapon to shatter perceptions and spare Charlie’s life?

Can you get to the killer before Charlie does?

This series is killing; in the best kind of way that is. I’m still no closer to figuring out who committed the murder but I have an idea.

I few new things were brought to light. Some of them I had already guessed and others not. I love new details; adds more twists to the story line.

Finally Slade is out of the picture. He was starting to really get to me. However now Nate is ready to claim Charlie for himself. Can is girl ever get a moment to herself. Everybody seems to want a piece of her in some form or another.

With some new evidence been discovered Charlie way finally be free or is all just a lie? The suspense is killing me.

“I saw it in his eyes.” I crossed my arms. “They’re going after me. I seriously think I’m their top suspect. Didn’t you see the way they looked at me just now? And the questions. It’s because of the fight. I should’ve called the police!” Fingers tangled in my hair, I strode back and forth. “Why didn’t I press charges when I could? How could I have listened to you over something like that? And who in God’s name killed? Because it wasn’t me!” I smashed my pointer finger into my chest. “It wasn’t me!”
The police have their prime suspect. More importantly, they have motive.
SACRED had you reeling, but SUSPECT will have you desperate to figure out the ultimate truth.Who snapped?

Couldn’t read this book fast enough. I just wanted to know if I would find out who did it or at least narrow down the list of suspect. Neither of which happened.

Everybody is a suspect in the murder, yet everybody including the police think that Charlie did it despite proclaiming her innocence. Nobody wants to believe her, even her boyfriend has he doubts. Charlie has stood by Slade in everything and now he is not sure about her. I think think there is more to him than meets the eye.

All all the evidence that was produced and the fights between the main characters, I still no closer to really guessing who did the murder. This series is so addictive. I’m on to the next book like right now.

After reading the first book, I couldn’t wait to read this one and just had to read it one sitting. I was not disappointed at all. Loved everything and couldn’t be happier with the ending. Life and love is never easy and Clay and Julia have provided that in abundance. A must read.

Night After Night (Seductive Nights, #1)Night After Night by Lauren Blakely

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Just wait a minute til my heart stops racing… Now it’s still going. There is nothing I hate about this book. I just loved everything about it. The characters are great, both main and sub and the story line was going places.

Clay is just as hot, if not even hotter than before. The man loves kink just because he can. Which is so refreshing, since most of the kinky lead males I have read previously have some issues that makes them that way. Not there is anything wrong with them, but sometimes a change is nice.

Warning there is a bit of a cliff hanger and you will have to read the next book to find out what happens.

When rich, handsome, and arrogant meets beautiful, brilliant, and ambitious, things are bound to get tangled

Drew Evans makes multimillion-dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed? He’ll tell you he has the flu, but we all know that’s not really true.

When Katherine Brooks is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.

How can one woman turn a smooth-talking player into a broken, desperate man? By making the one thing he never wanted in life the only thing he can’t live without.

Tie me up and bend me over. Drew Evans is in the house. oh, I absolutely loved this book.

Meet Drew Evans, he has the flu. Well at least that is what he is telling you because no guy would ever admit to having a broken heart.

“Do you see that unshowered, unshaven heap on the couch? The guy in the dirty gray T-shirt and ripped sweatpants? That’s me, Drew Evans. I’m not normally like this. I mean, that really isn’t me.”

However our hero wasn’t always like this.

“See that guy – black suit, devilishly handsome? Yeah, the guy getting the blow job from the luscious redhead in the bathroom stall? That’s the real me. MBF: Me Before Flu.”

Drew is the ultimate playboy. He makes multimillionaire dollar business deals, is handsome and has women falling at his feet.

“But here’s a fact for you – once I’m done, I’m done. I’m not the kind of guy who rides the same roller coaster twice. Once is enough, and then the thrill is gone and so is the interest.”

Yet this all means nothing when he meets a beautiful brunette at a club one night. Only to discover on Monday morning that she is a new employee at his place of work. Enter Kate Brooks. She is Drew’s equal in every way. Their interactions along the way are so enjoyable.

The novel is written through the eyes of Drew and is like having a conversation with him about everything that has happened leading up to him getting the flu. It really opens your eyes to how the man thinks. It was so addictive that I just had to keep reading it to find out what would happen and how Drew would describe certain events. There are even parts where it is so funny that you just have to laugh out loud.

{Review} Meet Me in Manhattan

Meet me in Manhattan by Judith Arnold

Ted Skala and Erika Fredell were the perfect New Jersey high school sweethearts. Like many teens, Ted and Erika spent plenty of time in parked cars under the stars, but there was so much more between them than the chemistry that ignited their courtship, and Ted couldn’t imagine a life without Erika. By graduation he was ready to get engaged. Erika, however, was ready to spread her wings, and faraway she flew to college. She broke his heart. She sailed the world.

Fast forward fifteen years. Living in Manhattan, Erika successfully climbs the corporate ladder but her love life stinks. Ted is also living the life of a successful businessman in Manhattan, and he’s involved in a serious relationship. Problem is, he still cannot get Erika out of his system. When fate intervenes and their paths cross, the result is emotionally explosive and that old black magic is back with the force of a super nova. But Erika once ravaged his heart: How can Ted ever trust her again? And now that he’s seriously involved with another woman, how can Erika hope for a second chance with the man she never should have let go?

Meet Me in Manhattan is a classic love story that is told as only Judith Arnold can tell it. With a deep grasp of the complexities of the human heart, this acclaimed author explores Ted Skala and Ericka Fredell’s compelling true story of a lost love unexpectedly found again.

An easy enjoyable romance that is based on a true life event is something different and one I was interested to see how it would go. I was generally surprised and liked the flow of the story and the characters.
An pleasure journey, and I good way to pass a few hours.

I enjoyed this book more the second time around. I originally read it when it was first released and didn’t really fall that much in love with it. But I felt more of a connection the second time around.
The story is very dark, but not depressingly moody. All of the characters have a personality of their own, and I loved all of them. Well nearly all of them.
It was strange reading about the world as we know it, but different somehow. For those that love urban fantasy this is a must.
