Synopsis

Eden literally fell into Coen’s arms as he rescued her, and she has belonged to him ever since that day. She has sent him an invitation to her graduation and he’s obliged to go… Right?

Coen has always been Eden’s knight in shining armor, and now she needs him more than ever. Will he come and rescue her one final time?

Review

Talk about insta-love! This one was a bit too quick for me but I still enjoyed it overall. I really liked the story and the characters in this one. Coen and Eden were perfect for each other. As always, it was over before I wanted it to be.

If I ever need a quick and hot read I know that Alexa Riley will be here to fill that need.

Synopsis

When Drake Hart’s security team is hired to find a stalker, he has no idea what’s in store for him. However, the day Zoey Lewis’ picture lands in his lap, there’s nothing he won’t do to save her. He’s always been quiet and shy, but seeing her changes everything.

Zoey is missing a filter when it comes to interacting with people. She’s used to being lost in her computer and being taken care of by her sister. She’s an oddball, and people find it hard to deal with. But when Drake Hulk-smashes his way into her world, she doesn’t feel so out of place.

When Zoey is threatened and needs protection, will Drake save the day? With a body like his, all signs point to yes!

Warning: He owns a security firm. She’s a little nerdy. It’s a classic trope and a recipe for sugary-sweet erotica!

Review

I really enjoyed this story and the characters however there was just a little too much insta-love for me. One minute the main characters meet and then the next chapter they’re thinking about getting married. It was just a little too fast for me.

Overall thou I did enjoy this story and the suspenseful element added some depth to the story. The main characters worked well and steamed up the pages when they were together. I even loved the authors little extra bit at the end about some other characters in the story.

However if the Drake and Zoey had of taking their relationship a little bit slower I might have enjoyed this story a little more.

Synopsis

We’ve all been that girl.

Maybe you did a little social media stalking to check him out. Maybe you just drove by his house to see if he was home. Maybe you took it a step further and followed him once or twice.

We’ve all gone a little crazy over a guy before.

I went a little crazy. That’s how Archer Ware ended up tied to the bed. I should probably feel bad about it, and maybe once I get what I want, I will. But right now he’s mine, and that’s all I care about.

This isn’t the forced submission story you’re used to. Valentina will stop at nothing to have the man she wants, and Archer can only take what she gives.

Warning: This book contains an obsessed heroine at threat-level red, a sexy billionaire with a secret of his own, and a story so hot, firefighters can’t put out the flames.

Not responsible if firefighters show up looking to help you out.

Review

I’m not really sure what to think about this story. While it did seem a little bit over the top and unbelievable it was still an enjoyable story.

I was just getting into when the POV changed. I don’t mind dual, triple or even multi POV when it adds more depth to the story. However with this story and the POV change, I was just reading the same story from the other main characters perspective. I was hoping that the story would continue from the hero’s POV, but it didn’t.

After that I didn’t really care what the characters did next. Shame really; it could have been a good story otherwise.

Review

I liked where this story was going but it was just way too short. It felt like a was reading more of an outline for a novel rather than an actual book. I really felt like it could have been fleshed out lot more.

In saying that, I did enjoy the stories and characters that the author has created and will be checking out the rest of the books in the series.

Synopsis

Noelle’s voice has captivated Alex, and she’s become his greatest obsession. Since he hired her to read audiobooks, listening to her is the only thing that makes his lonely world bearable. Thank God she’s never seen him. His scars would only scare her away.

Alex has starred in every fantasy Noelle’s had since she first heard his voice over the phone, and reading erotica samples to him only fuels her desire. Listening to him on the other end of the phone is the best part of her day, and she’s willing to do anything to please him.

On Christmas Eve a storm comes through, sending Noelle in search of her reclusive boss. Once she’s at his cabin with no place to go, there’s only one way to keep warm.

Warning: This is the sweetest, cheesiest, most Christmassy book ever! It’s filled with late-night confessions, dirty deeds, and a lifetime of love. If you love this time of year, I’ve got some cheer for you!

Review

This one was a little different since the characters fall in love with each other voices before they actually meet. It just seemed a little strange to me, but it worked for this story since Noelle is an audio book reader.

If you like your Christmas stories hot and steamy, then this may be the one for you. While it is a quick read, it still leaves you with that happy holiday felling inside.

Review

This story started out really strong and the attraction between the main characters was really intense. They really appeared to be taking things slow after all the bull shit relationship dramas of the past that they had both gone through. Harvey and Jay were are likable couple, even with the age difference between them.

The Harvey’s ex shows up and tries to give them both a hard time and the story just fell apart for me. After the fight it was straight into sex. What happened to taking things slow?

There needs to be more of a middle to this story. I felt like a got the start and the end of something that could be so much more.

Synopsis

He must reach out to those who hurt him the most and lay his heart on the line but these were the people who destroyed him before and will seeing them again prove his salvation or his ultimate undoing.

Review

I liked how the reader got to understand the struggles that the main character had to go through during his life time of denying who he really was and then accepting himself. It felt like a really personal experience; and that the main character is telling you his story to you.

However I didn’t like how the story was told. It just wasn’t for me. I would have preferred to have been on the characters journey, rather than through the source of random flashbacks over his life’s main events.

After finishing the book, I was left feeling empty. I guess I was just expecting more and was let down. But this may just be me thou.

Synopsis

A weekend in Barcelona is what Natasha Gordon needs to help rid her life of her now ex-boyfriend. The mix of sunshine and wine, all shared with a sexy Spanish waiter goes a long way to easing her broken heart. What she hadn’t planned on was falling for Carlos, who is not just the waiter but owns the café. Doing her best to ignore her lustful hot thoughts towards him, Natasha fails and gives in to what she believes is no strings attached sex. But after twenty four hours together, is she in love and has she got a future with Carlos?

Review

I really wanted to like this book but there were some parts that were just a little too bit unbelievable for me.

Both the hero and heroine seem like really nice down to earth characters and I loved them both on their own and when they got together. But I couldn’t get over that Natasha was in Barcelona to get over her e-boyfriend for the weekend and was already in love with someone else so quickly after only a few hours in each others company. Now I don’t mind in insta-love in a story, but this was more like insta-insta-love to me. I just felt it was too soon for her to be falling in love, even if is does discover that she was never really in love with her ex to begin with.

Carlos was a real gentleman thou. He respected Natasha in every way and didn’t push her when he gave his speech about wanting to spend the rest of his life with her. I would have also liked to see more of Carlos’ POV to understand more about where he was coming from.

The end of the book didn’t do anything for me either. I was happy to see both Carlos and Natasha come to an arrangement that made both of them happy and then I was left hanging. I don’t know what their future lives together will entail. I would like to assume that they get their happy ending, but the ending of the story was too opening for me. I would have liked a bit more closer.

To him, the smell of a gun after it was fired resembled the sweet scent of a man after he made love – a strong, musky odor that excited him.

Review

The tension between Camdyn and Malik made for a very interesting read. The story flowed perfectly and with every turn of the page I was waiting to see if they would finally get together.

Both Camdyn and Malik are unsure about asking each other the real questions that they want to know from each other. This makes for some very interesting scene. Some of them were so sexually charged that I just wanted to yell at them and tell them to hurry up and get it on.

And when they did, oh it was off the pages HOT!
